Medical acupuncture is a more modern approach to conventional acupuncture. A license is also required to do the profession, so that patients will be safe. The Acupuncture Physician does not immediately carry out acupuncture on his patients. He first gets the patients medical history. This is important because this is where he will base his treatment protocols.
Combining modern medicine with Chinese alternative medicine proves to be beneficial. This is how the acupuncture physician works. He checks up his patient just like a regular doctor but his treatment approach may differ from one.
